I do realize that there were no sewing machines in the New Testament, but I thought it would be fun to make one, and it sure as easier than figuring out how to make a Lego needle and thread.
The treadle sewing machine was patented in 1790 by Thomas Saint. It’s not known if he had a prototype. I didn’t know the patent system was that old.
